100 Lists

This long-term interdisciplinary project explores what it means to be human through a series of one hundred short poetic films. Each film begins with a simple prompt—I lost..., I found..., I remember..., I forgot..., I loved..., I feared...—and unfolds through a rich interplay of spoken word, movement and cinematic imagery.

The power of 100 Lists lies in its simplicity. Beginning with the ordinary, often humorous, nostalgic or seemingly insignificant, each list gradually uncovers deeper truths about our lives. Everyday memories become intimate portraits of identity, revealing the moments, relationships and emotions that shape who we are while reflecting experiences shared across humanity.

More than a series of films, 100 Lists invites audiences into an act of quiet participation. As each list unfolds, viewers instinctively begin composing their own, recalling forgotten memories, treasured relationships, moments of joy, loss, hope and change. In doing so the work becomes both a personal reflection and a collective experience, encouraging emotional awareness, empathy and a deeper appreciation of the stories that connect us all.
